Plastics
Below are a list of examples of plastics that can be donated, and criteria to look out for. We accept #2 and #5 plastics, bemuse they are the most durable and can be effectively remade into other products.
- Check the bottom of the plastic to find its number (there should be a 2 or 5 in order to donate)
- Make sure to clean the plastic before drop-off
- If you can, remove any labelling on the plastic
- Take-out containers
- Prescription bottles
- Bottle Caps
- To-Go Cups
- Laundry Detergent Bottles
- Water Gallon Jugs
- Shampoo and Body Wash Bottles
- Cleaning Supply Containers
